"Jedak Attack"

Films: Gnaw (2017)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of an average chihuahua.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: When you go to sleep, you'd be surprised by how many creatures would like a piece of your flesh and blood, no matter how miniscule. Bed bugs and mites love to have a go at it every now and then. But for this particular beast, it goes all-in.

History: There's an apartment in the big city with a dark secret. Lying in the crawspace is an impish demon known as Jedak. This gluttonous beast lies in wait, coming out at night to take bite-sized chunks out of people in their sleep. A young woman doesn't realize this until she start noticing fresh bite marks all over her body. While most deem her crazy, she finds herself on the defensive as Jedak prepares to make a meal out of her piece by piece.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After tormenting the woman for so long, Jedak is mercilessly beaten up, tossed into a microwave, and scolded for its actions by her. Overcome with fear, Jedak reverts back into his small idol form, agreeing to a compromise. Said compromise involves giving Jedak to her abusive boyfriend. So hey, happy ending for each!

Powers/Abilities: Jedak is lightning-fast, and can turn into a small idol to camouflage or avoid danger. He is also incredibly durable.

Weakness: Jedak is actually something of a coward, submitting to one's will if they hurt it a lot. It will also give up its torment if given to someone else.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Jedak is quite literally the pixie from Hell. A small annoying winged terror with razor-sharp teeth that eats you bit by bit every night, it's small wonder why there was an entire scripture bemoaning the fate of anyone who dares enter his nest. All of that said, he's still small enough to pound in at least a thousand different ways, and once he's at a disadvantage, you can basically send his hideous ass somewhere else.

Trivia: -At least a couple of the main actors were major players in "The Vampire Diaries".

-Jedak is most certainly derived from stories of gremlins or even fairies in general, seeing how it is equal parts mischievous and has little regard for humans. Such was the nature of the fair folk in many cultures.

Worst than a mosquito bite, we think.
The mark of the beast is tinier and maybe more deadly.
